Time/Turnaround
Every piece of morse coded jewelry is made to order, therefore once you place your order please allow 1-2 business days for it to be hand made and then add shipping time. Orders go out same day quite often, but if there is a special occasion and you would like to have the order expedited, please write a note to me in the "notes to seller" section at checkout with your delivery date request. I will accommodate these requests whenever possible and will let you know if it is not possible within 48 hours.

Recommendations for Care
Please keep the silk away from moisture as much as possible as it will cause it to become brittle over time and deplete the lifespan of the jewelry. Please do not submerge the silk in water — swimming or bathing while wearing the silk will shorten its lifespan. The metals on the silk pieces should be wiped with a dry cloth.
The jewelry that is on chain can be cleaned regularly. The bangles are also waterproof. The dots and dashes in a chain piece are strung on a hidden, waterproof and durable nylon cord.
Repairs
If you must wear your silk necklace to the beach or keep your bracelet on while playing, feeding and bathing your toddler, I understand. I will rebuild your cherished piece — no matter what the scenario for a $36 repair/restring fee. This includes shipping it back to you.
To keep the studio safe and germ free, I am no longer accepting gold fill or sterling silver pieces for repair, please keep your piece for sentimental reasons, I will make you a new one.
Please email me with the details of your repair/restring and I will send you a Paypal invoice to cover the cost of the repair/restring fee, and then I will make you a replacement.
If you are in need of a 14 karat gold repair, please email me and we will figure out the best solution for getting your piece back to its original condition.
Exchanges
Each item is handmade to order in our studios. If you are unhappy with your purchase, you may exchange the piece for another item on our site as long as it shows no sign of wear and is in its original condition. We do not offer returns.
* Sterling Silver cannot be exchanged or returned due to oxidization once the jewelry is built and handled.
* Custom words and phrases are not exchangeable.
*Campaign bangles are not exchangeable
All exchanges must be postmarked within 7 days (through January 15th for December orders) of receipt of original shipment. Insurance, tracking and careful packing in a box are strongly suggested for all returned items. COATT will not be responsible for lost or damaged packages. If you need a different size on chain pieces or bangles, there is a $40 resize fee in addition to any extra gold that may be needed to make a piece larger (if it is a chain to be made smaller there is no extra fee in addition to the $40). Double bangles are $60 to resize/replace.
All items are handmade and inspected for quality before shipping to ensure you receive a great product. On the off chance you receive damaged or defective merchandise, please email me at hello@coattonline.com within one week of receiving your order.
